My parents can't stay away. Two weeks is their limit for going without seeing Will, which is fine with us. We all get spoiled when they come. Saturday Timo had to work a basketball tournament to raise money for his track program so Grandma, Grandpa, Will and I went to Astoria and to the beach for the day.
I took my parents on a Goonies tour which included going to the Astoria tower (not in the movie but the road to the tower is). It's 125 feet tall and has 164 spiraling steps to go to the top.
Mom did not. She isn't a heights person.
If you look closely, you can see a guy standing in the middle of the picture with a white hat. See that little speck?? That's how high we were.
We then went to the Shipwreck. Will's first time at the beach, which he almost slept through.
It was so nice to get out and do something fun, even if Timo couldn't join us. It makes me anxious for nice weather, and more outdoor adventures.
** Disclaimer: NO babies were hurt (or even in the car seat) during Grandpa's climbing :)
