At 1 year.../ Party Time!

• weighs 23 pounds and is about 31 inches long
• is wearing 12 month clothes
• is wearing size 4 diapers
• can wave
• has 7 teeth
• dances when he hears music
• loves, loves, loves trucks and cars of all kinds
• loves to read books
• still loves to jump
• has stood by himself a few times
• will walk with help
• has become a massive mommy's boy
• has blessed us more than I ever could have imagined.
• Happy Birthday to my baby boy!

This morning was bittersweet for me.  I no longer get to track his age with cute pictures stating what month he is.  I no longer get to state that he's a baby but instead moving faster and faster toward toddler-hood.  But this past year has been one of the greatest of our lives.  The joy and fulfilment that William has brought into our lives is indescribable.  My child is one of the funniest people I've ever met.  I have loved watching him grow and learn and I realize how important my job is to guide him.  What an amazing child we have been blessed with!!

I wanted Will to have a bath before his party today so he got to open his present from us this morning instead at the bash.  He totally tore into his present and of course loved the paper more than the gift.

But once he got in the tub, it was a different story.

 Then it was off to celebrate his birthday with our family and friends.

What a wonderful day for my little one.  He was completely spoiled and loved every second of it.
