Taking advantage

We had a really rough night last night.  I was, once again, introduced to an old enemy - heartburn; Timo was introduced to the flu, so together we were up the majority of the night.

I seriously can't remember the last time I've seen Timo actually be sick and we've been together 7 years.  So being the amazing wife that I am, I let my poor, miserable husband sleep in.  Of course, as soon as he was up, I was back in bed (thankfully it was nap time for Will too) and five minutes after I woke up Timo was once again in bed.

Since it looked like this outside, we decided to take advantage of the rare thing called sun and give Timo the quiet house he needed.

Will had a blast exploring our ever changing backyard.  I can't believe how busy this kiddo is all of the time.

He did take a minute to kick back with my water, in my chair.  He figured out how to climb onto it today and spent at least 15 minutes climbing on and off the chair.

My kiddo has quite the arm and can actually throw toys for Kenya

and even the cats enjoyed some time out in the sun.

But as it is in Oregon in the Spring... the clouds rolled in and it was time to go inside before the next down pour hit us.  At least Timo got some much needed rest, Will spent some energy and I got some good pictures.
