Sickies, Snot and Soup

Yesterday ended  at midnight rocking a miserable little boy to sleep, and started this morning at 430 with a miserable little girl.  My bed and I got puked on at 645 and the fun hasn't stopped since.

I have to say that snot disgusts me.  Green snot is even worse.  My kids are full of thick, green snot and I can't handle it.  Neither can breathe, neither can sleep and so nap time was nonexistent.

My hair is greasy, I don't want to think about what has been wiped on my shirt, I actually don't feel so hot myself and to top it off, Timo came home with horrible body aches and was in bed by 445.

My kiddos have watched way too much tv so I could still try and get some work done since this is the last week of the semester and I have tons of work to do.  I've wiped a million noses (including my own), suffered through sickness induced meltdowns, rocked feverish children and even gave my snot crusted children a bath.

I also made my first pot of Chicken Noodle Soup tonight.  I had no idea what I was doing or what I should throw in, but somehow it actually turned out and is my big accomplishment for the day.  Hollyn devoured it so it must be edible.

I'm pretty sure no one should enter my house without a HAZMAT suit and I'm ready to burn the house down just to make sure I kill all the germs.

I'm praying for bedtime just so I can take a bath of my own and have plans to snuggle on the couch with Kenya to avoid Timo and all of his extra cooties.

What a day!
