Big Boy Bed

Today we got Will's new big boy bed.  It's very bitter sweet to know that soon Will will officially graduate to a big boy and there will be a new baby soon.  I'm trying so hard to cherish every last minute I have with Will since soon our attention will be divided.  As much as I can't wait to not be pregnant and have our new little girl in my arms, I know I'm going to miss all the special times we've been able to share just with Will.  I'll admit, I shed a few tears over our life changing once again.  I know I'll just have to work hard on keeping the amazing relationship that Will and I have.

Anyway...

While Will was napping, we brought in his "new" bed that we were given for free (can't pass that up!) and got it made up and ready for him.  Once again, his reaction was priceless and he immediately started pointing out the characters and crawled in to snuggle with his new blanket.

Although, I felt that his bedding set was a little pricey for a toddler set, this picture says it all when it comes to how excited he was.  Money well spent!

We still have some work to do in his room, but at least his wall is decorated and his bed is in place.  He has one more Cars themed thing coming and then he'll be set and hopefully we can get the rest of the room in order.  

Then it's on to the nursery and making it a little more girly... 

Even Kenya is stoked about the new "doggie" sized bed.  We might have some issues down the road about whose bed that actually is.  We'll cross that bridge when we get there.
