Thanksgiving craziness

This was my blog about Thanksgiving that was supposed to be posted 3 weeks ago but only ended up as a draft... I'm posting it now instead of recaping later. For those of you who know about my Thanksgiving... yes I left out the kitchen fire part. I never got there to write it and it's too late to write it now.

As usual, the week has gotten away from me and I now have to play catch-up with what has been going on. So, while Kenya is occupied with her squirrl kong, I'm going to take a few minutes to write.

Timo, Kenya and I went to my parents' house for Thanksgiving this year and it was going to be the first time we were all together as an official famliy (meaning that my brother and new wife were there too).

Of course, I got wrapped up in cooking and helping out that I forgot to take any pictures of the dinner or of all of us together. I was really bummed after I realized that I missed my photo opportunity but we had a very yummy dinner and a good time as a family.


Mark usually works nights so while he was working, Chelle would come over to lose to DVD Clue. I think we played for 3 nights in a row and we finally let her win a game the last night. It was a pretty cool game and I am an amazing dectective if I do say so myself. :)

Kenya and Glenna spend every day playing and wrestling and took advantage to take over the couch at night. There was no moving them once they crashed!
