Life is going well in the Van Voorst home but for a person who loves sleep, I'm struggling with Hollyn to get enough. She is one child who loves to be held when sleeping. She is quite the snuggler, which I love, but doesn't work well at 2 am. Half of the time I don't help things by falling asleep while nursing, so she gets her way anyway. She usually starts the night by going 4 hours before waking to nurse but from then on out it's every 2 hours and the majority of the time she'll fall fast asleep as soon as she's in my arms (and wake up right away if I put her back to bed). A friend told me to use a warm up pack to trick her into thinking she was snuggling with me and a new friendship was born...
and I get a little bit more sleep, which always makes me happy! Just don't spit up on my bear Hollyn!
I also had to include some other pictures from last week since blogging has taken a slight back seat to life. I love how her cheeks are getting so huge!
