Turkey Day

I have a lot to do today.  There is a pile of laundry hat is waiting to be folded that is starting to resemble Mt. Everest.  I have some dishes in the sink.  I've decided to try and sell some hats so I have tons and tons of knitting to do. A shower is calling my name.  A second cup of dark chocolate, coconut decaf coffee might just be calling my name too.  But for now, I'm going to sit here, listening to Christmas music on Pandora and write one of the many blogs that is stored in my head.

This year Thanksgiving was at the Van Voorst house.  Chaos is really the only way to describe what happens when 6 kids, 7 adults and 1 dog get together.  It's not a bad chaos, although I do get a little overwhelmed with all the noise at times, but the house is always filled with laughter and good food.

Hollyn loved her first Thanksgiving and soaked up all the snuggles she got from her aunties and grandma.

We spent the evening playing games, drinking Toasted Almonds and enjoying adult time without kiddos.

Always the perfect way to end such a great day.
