Big Boy

Once again it's time to complain that time is moving too fast and I'm struggling to keep up.

Yesterday my baby took yet another step into becoming a big, little boy with his first hair cut.  That's right, his curls are gone... for now.

He watched as someone else finished up a hair cut before him,

and was excited to sit with Daddy in the chair.

He helped Kori comb his hair,

and sat relatively still as she started turning my baby into a little boy.

Grandma kept him busy with food and singing,

while Mommy learned how to cut his hair.

And then it was over and time to play outside, or "yide" as Will calls it.

This is his attack face.  Just picture a high pitched squeal as he charges at you.

I forgot to zoom out... oops.

All night I kept looking at this little boy, wondering where time went and wishing I could get a little of it back.  He still acted like my baby but didn't look like it anymore.

It's a good thing we have another one one the way and some part of me wants time to speed up so we can meet her but most of me wants to enjoy this boy for as long as I can first.
