Mother's Day Weekend

I have to say that Timo scored a home run this Mother's Day Weekend.  I know... SURPRISING!! 

Not that Timo isn't thoughtful.  He can be, from time to time but most of the time it just doesn't enter his mind until it's too late and then he ends up doing nothing.  So, I entered into Mother's Day Weekend with no expectations and only hoping that I might get a nice card.

Instead, he gave me Saturday to go off with the girls for pedicures and lunch which was so wonderful to get out.  And I came home to a very clean house and an exhausted Daddy and son.

Sunday he planned to have his parents come to babysit while we went to one of those theater/restaurants.  Unfortunately, the movie was a dumb one and after exhausting plan b,c,d and e, we ended up at Applebee's for a surprisingly nice dinner.

I was also given a gigantic card with both Will's and Timo's hands traced in them and a paper with Will's hands, just in case I don't want to keep the card.  

What a good boy Timo was!  He really made me feel loved and appreciated and I knew he had it in him!!

I also have to mention that Mother's Day has extra special meaning to me since yesterday marked the 11 year anniversary that Mom has been cancer free!!  Yea for MOM!!
