I root for the Timbers!!
Timo and I had one of our greatest dates yesterday, thanks to my brilliant mind and FINALLY finding something that Timo liked for his birthday. That's right, Timbers tickets.
We both love to watch soccer and every member of our family has a soccer jersey of our favorite team or player so we were really excited when Portland got an MLS team. Although it's nowhere near the level of the European teams, it was still a good game and we had a blast wearing our Timbers t-shirts and cheering the team on.
After the game, we went to Red Robin for Timo's birthday burger so dinner came out to be a whole $10. Can't argue with that! Then it was back home to play with Will for a bit before bed time.
We tried to watch a movie but Timo and Avery didn't make it.
A ginormus, hugemongus THANK YOU to my parents who came up for the weekend just so they could babysit Will while we went out. Apparently, they had a great time too.
This is a date that we will definitely do again and again... and next time I'm getting a scarf!
